The first EAISAC event of the year took place at Nagoya International School, where students gathered for a Leadership Conference. What an inspiring few days, bringing together passionate young leaders ready to grow, step up, and make a difference in their communities.

The conference kicked off with fun, interactive leadership sessions that helped students connect, build confidence, and start thinking about what leadership really means. From there, they faced a series of challenges designed to push them outside their comfort zones, test their teamwork, and encourage creative problem-solving.

Students also had the opportunity to join sessions led by the Heads of Schools from EAISAC, who shared their own experiences, insights, and advice about leadership.

In addition to the leadership sessions, students explored a bit of Nagoya — visiting the historic Atsuta Shrine and spending time together at a local mall, where they enjoyed dinner and connected with peers in a more relaxed setting.

A few key takeaways included:

  • Leadership is about service, not titles.

  • Small actions can create big change.

  • True leaders empower those around them.

We’re excited to see how our students will bring these lessons into their everyday lives, both in and out of the classroom. A big thank you to our facilitators, staff, the EAISAC Heads of Schools, and the student leaders who made this event such a success!

Here’s to building a culture of leadership, growth, and connection.
